...the marble version.

I know... the blog is some kind of daily routine, but I always said NO to any kind of "obligation".

Friends

I don't believe in the human being who can write everyday and especially I don't believe there is someone who finds something interesting to write about, daily. My friend, Joshua Jones is proving me wrong (without knowing!!!! - Never actually spoke to him about this) with his blog, My Fight To Write. I read it everyday... and so far, so good! Have a look!

Myself

Above all, I still don't believe in that verb used to express a strong obligation: must.
I believe in honest thoughts translated into words, in the saving silence, when needed, in the great return of the stories. I believe in doing what you feel, when you feel, if you feel, especially if you have a choice.

*Random*

I don't know why, today I found myself thinking about "The Kiss" by Rodin.

The supreme act of love seems more dramatic than erotic.

I'll be back! ...actually, I'm not going anywhere, I'm always here.

Cristinnne.

P.S.: I can't be someone I'm not.

  1. Ha ha - that was quite funny. As I was reading your sentence "I don't believe in the human being who can write everyday" I was thinking "Hey - what about me!" And then you mentioned that I was proving you wrong! So that made me laugh.

The Kiss by Rodin is beautiful. To see it in the flesh is something very special. I love the Rodin museum and go there every time I'm in Paris (Hence this mention - http://myfighttowrite.blogspot.com/2010/10/paris-my-love.html) and recommend it to everyone. You're absolutely right - a kiss is a dramatic, personal, revealing thing. As opposed to being erotic. You're also right that nothing is ever "must". I don't write every day on my blog because I must. I write because I've accepted that it's what makes me happy - I guess more precisely it makes me unhappy to not write every day. So it's not that I have no choice. It's that it's the positive committed choice to make with my daily life. Keep writing! Josh xo
